Over the past ten years, Caroline has worked with a wide veriety of companies and organisations. Below are just some of her past and present clients.
Martic Systems Ltd
This is a relatively new company which has patented a stabilising (anti-jackknife) device for articulated lorries. I am working to support the business, as well as securing funding, and building strategic alliances and leads in relevant fields such as logistics, manufacturing, transportation and metallurgical engineering, etc.
I have been working with this company for about eighteen months now, and we have already created a strong plan to go forward for Yorkshire Forward funding, as well as securing an Innovation Voucher worth £3,000, and the assistance of the Engineering Innovation Institute at Hull University.
A lot of work is ongoing with this one, and confidential, and it may well be another eighteen months before the product can go to market, following the necessary rigorous tests.

Crucible Technologies
I am currently working on a fantastic project with Crucible Technologies, based at the Northminster
Business Park, York.
The latest product in the Crucible Technologies stable is the LEC (Lighting Energy Controller), and I have been assigned the task of promoting this system throughout Yorkshire and Humberside. This is an
exciting and quite technical challenge, but I have had some good success so far, and I have only been working on the project for three months! It is hoped that this project will go from strength to strength.
Mike Nowill Photography
This is one of the most exciting projects for me so far in 2010! Mike Nowill of Mike Nowill Photography has embarked on a project to give recognition to the unsung heroes and good samaritans of our region. He wants to photograph successful nominees for a lifestyle photographic exhibition and a charity calendar for 2011. The aim is to raise funds for the Variety Club, and so far, the interest has been amazing! Mike brought us in at the start to help develop the project, and in the last three months we have managed to secure interest from various publications, and are working on getting the involvement of famous local faces, as well as hunting down those good peopls of Yorkshire. A really fantastic idea!
U Name It Promotions
I have been working with U Name It, based in Ripon, for 4 months now, developing the business and
trying to generate leads further afield geographically, as well as in certain defined sectors.
This has proved successful so far, and I hope that this will continue.
I am working mainly on exhibiting on behalf of the company at events such as the Hull and Humber Chamber Expo, as well as lead generation through networking and targeted marketing towards the education sector and hospitality. Various large quotes are currently being prepared.
Impact Outsourced Credit Control Solutions Ltd
I have been working with Iain Mackay from Impact as a fellow networker and B for B member now for about 10 months, and we have found great synergies between my skills and his business needs. I am in the process of helping the company launch a new product, both to their existing client base, and to a wider audience.
Catapult Creative
I am working with Mark Currie on lead generation, primarily, for the new aspect of the business which is corporate video/films, specifically for the museums and galleries market. So far I have managed to generate leads for him into the Yorkshire Museums Trust, as well as Jodrell Bank, amongst others.
It is hoped that these leads may come to something by the end of 2009.
I also successfully secured an Innovation Voucher for further work to be done with Catapult Creative by an Innovation Expert, and this is still ongoing.
Tandem Hire Yorkshire
This is a company which hires out tandems (as the name suggests!) for corporate events, charity rides, and networking. I have worked with Paul Calvert on this since July, and I hope very much to continue to help next season. The main bulk of my involvement has been lead generation into charities, as well as profile-raising re: networking.
The company has 8 tandems and two mountain bikes, as well as various apparatus for the
transportation of children!
My role ongoing is to help develop a strategy to most effectively promote the business so that when the good weather comes in spring (?!), the company will have a sufficiently high profile to immediately start booking up for their events. To this end, I have built a relationship with How2Fundraise.org, and there are plans to produce some e-guides for the site as a promotional and information tool.
£3,000 of Innovation Voucher funding has also been secured for Tandem Hire Yorkshire.
